There is a fear that therapy reflects on a person weakness, highlights emotional instability, used to fixate on blaming others but none of this is reality. Therapy is a safe haven to find yourself, get in touch with inner demons, find your confidence and self-esteem, laugh, reclaim your power, free yourself from pain & suffering and an opportunity to challenge your emotional intelligence. Our role is to help you reconnect with true-self and promote healing by talking to empty chairs, write letters to your ex that you would never send, journal, throw sandbags on the ground to get your frustrations out, draw memories of what feels like trivial dreams, tell you things you do not want to hear, take a walk to the Rose Garden and even role-play, to name a few. Therapy is a place of exploration, and you get to be the captain of this ship.
We understand that it is not always easy to find the right therapist for yourself whether this is your first time finding a therapist or you're looking for a new therapist. You probably spent months doing research, following therapists on Instagram, venting to friends, and contacting therapist that never return your calls. Along this journey, you may have found yourself feeling emotionally exhausted and may have even lost hope that Therapist exist out there. We are here to confirm that Therapist do exist! At TriHealing, we have 4 licensed therapist and 1 associate therapist; ALL with different styles and approaches to therapy but with one common goal –which is to collaborate with you to create an engaging, non-passive, rewarding and unique experience designed just for you!
If for some reason, you don't vibe with your consulting therapist, don't freight. That therapist will help you connect with another therapist on our Team who may be a better fit…and if some uncontrollable force in the universe says "none of the TriHealing therapist are a good match", we are going to help refer you to our fellow colleagues who we believe are great therapist in the area. At TriHealing, we really believe that therapy can have healing powers –so if you find your way to us seeking help and even if we are not a good match for you; we want to help you find the right therapist!
Great Question! …because we are the only facility in the Bay Area that integrate mental and physical health. Research has shown that a minimal of 15-30 minutes of physical activity a day, can help improve mood and reduce low-moderate levels of anxiety. Each of our therapy room is equipped with a treadmill, row machine or stationary bike to incorporate physical movement for your therapeutic journey. We encourage you to utilize our meditation (quiet) corner before & after each session to help re-ground yourself. The meditation corner each has a noise cancelling headphone and massage chair that leans back. The relationship between your mind, body and soul is key to your healing. This is your reset – be gentle with yourself.
We are a diverse group of licensed therapists who have over 45 years of experience in Community Mental Health. Our experiences range from severe mental illness, victims and perpetration of trafficking, addiction, trauma, abuse, autism, depression, and anxiety. We have backgrounds with multi-disciplinary teams across different systems including Foster Care, Probation, and Department of Children & Family Services. We also welcome our LBGTQIA+ community with open arms!
