“In the middle of difficulty, lies opportunity” Albert Einstein
My empathy & pride for my community is rooted in my own life experiences as an African American woman, faithful Christian, Mother and Wife. I bring my life experiences of survival, trauma, healing and victory to our journey together. I have a deep understanding for those struggling with their identity, purpose, faith, and/or meaningful relationships and have an unconditional appreciation for your courage to consider therapy.
I am an Associated Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples and families impacted by correctional systems/agencies, law enforcement, domestic violence, childhood trauma, divorce, infidelity, severe depression and/or severe anxiety. As a woman of color, I have strong values surrounding workplace challenges, self-worth, empowerment, grief & loss, and injustice within our communities that impact our lives every day. I take pride in my approach to always come with an open heart and to be culturally sensitive to all cultures and ethnicities in our communities. My professional experience as a Probation Officer and Cheer Director, inspires my passion in working with Teens, Young Adults, Families and Couples.
I use my gifts to provide compassionate care to those who choose me to partner with them in reclaiming their power, redefining their purpose, understanding their struggle, and desiring a balance between their own mental, physical, and spiritual wellness. I am solution oriented and committed to your healing journey.
Please note that I am currently only providing telehealth sessions. I am looking forward to hearing from you!
